This collection begins where curiosity and adventure first took root—in the green grass of a red-brick ranch house in Tennessee. It follows a child who climbed through forsythia tunnels, played through long summer days and evenings, gathered flower bouquets and white clover necklaces, shaped mud pies, ate wild strawberries, and collected lightning bugs in a glass jar. That early love of the outdoors and all of creation remains the heart of the work today.
